Hey Beauts !

It's Sunday ! I'm sorry I could not do the last one, unfortunately I have been working like a crazy woman. I have crazy amount of respect for people who can balance out their work life, personal life and a blog. It's not an easy task. Well let's get to this weeks questions !

1. What is the most difficult thing you have been through ?

I would definitely say losing my grandmother. She played a very large role in my life and a constant inspiration in my life. I lost her 3 years ago and it's definitely still something I struggle with everyday.

2. What was your best birthday ?

I want to say my 21st birthday and not because of the obvious. I have never been a birthday party kind of person and on this birthday a spontaneous party just kind of happened. There was great people and all just had a really fun time. It was also my last birthday that my grandma was able to attend.

3. What has been your favorite thing you've done in your own city ?

For sure going to the beach . Living in Miami means you can pretty much go to the beach year round and never worry about the temperature.

One of the reasons I  love my city.

4. What is your idea of the perfect date night ?

So I have always wanted a late night date type of thing, where we go to either Denny's or IHOP to eat and then drive over to the beach to watch the sunrise. I am a giant cheese ball.

5. Have you ever been to a blogging conference ? If so which (ones) ? If not do you want to ?
I have never been to one and yes I would want to go, could be interesting !

March Favorites !

Hi Beauts !

I honestly can't believe March is over, where did it go ?! For a month that has 31 days, it feels more like 5. Normally from month to month my favorites don't really change. I'll fall in love with something here and there but not really enough to do a blog post about it. This month, I don't have a ton of favorites but I definitely want to share them with you !

Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Shampoo

I have been dying to find a shampoo that cleans my hair right but doesn't dry it out and I think I finally found it ! This Dove shampoo is amazing and a definite must have. It cleans my hair but doesn't strip it of it's natural oils and moisture and I like how it makes my hair feels.

Burberry Perfume

I have had this perfume for more than a year but never really reached for it. One day I just grabbed it and fell in love with the smell. It's a very mild smell, you can smell that it's there but it's not a heavy smell. Once it settles on my skin and with my body chemistry it smells fruity and vanilla-y. It's not an overly sweet smell, it is sightly sweet but then you get this hint of warmness and it just smells amazing.

Just Fab Regional

Oh this bag ! I bought this bag from Just Fab and I didn't think I was going to love this bag as much as I do. It's the perfect shoulder bag, it's not too big and not too small, it can really hold a lot. What I really like the most is you can definitely wear this purse casually but also wear it with a more dressier, sophisticated look. Oh and it's pocket galore ! This bag literally has like 8 pockets, which is great when you want to fill it up.

Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss in Lovechild

Can I be forward and say I love this ! This is my new absolute favorite, it's just like the most perfect lip product ever. The color is called Lovechild and it's this perfect better than your natural lips kind of color. The formula isn't goopy or sticky like other lip glosses, it's very moisturizing and flattering and feel like a second skin. Real Techniques Accent Brush and Eye shadow ( I bought this at a drugstore a while ago and don't remember the name and it doesn't have a label !)

I really like the way my eyes look with eyeliner. Some days I don't want such a defined look but more natural. I use this dark brown eye shadow with my Real Techniques Accent Brush and just dab it long my lash line. I gives my eyes a really nice shape and makes my lashes look a lot thicker.

My Spring Lip Must Haves !

Hi Beauts !

Spring is finally here ! I know for some of you Beauts, what you see outside of your window says otherwise, however I'm so excited for the season and to be able to use all of these on my lips. Nothing says Spring better than a beautiful bright lip. Some of these are some newer purchases and some are constant repeats. I love every single one of these products and that's probably why I keep using them again and again and find them perfect for this time of year.

Lately, my most recent go to lip is either Lovechild or Breathtaking Apricot, Lovechild is more of a natural nudey pink and Breathtaking Apricot is a gorgeous coral. They are both amazingly moisturizing and easy to apply. I find all of these different shades of pink would look great on just about anyone. Now, I know pink isn't the only lip color that you can wear during spring, you can wear any color, really it doesn't matter. There is just something about pink this time of year that just screams "Spring" to me. It makes me excited for the change in seasons and for all the beautiful bright colors.

Garnier Clean+ Nourishing Cleansing Oil Review !

Hi Beauts !

So, I was on the hunt for a new make up remover after I ran out of my previous one. I always like to try out new make up removers and see if I like them or not and maybe find a new favorite. Lately, I have been really wanting to try out an oil cleanser and see if they work well or not and if I like them or not. Now when I saw this one at the store I was contemplating it because it's an oil base cleanser and I have oily skin. I thought oil on top of oil, can't be good but still I thought I'd give it a shot. So far I give this a 3.5 out of 5. It takes off almost all of your make up and doesn't leave an oily residue on your face afterwards. It does however, make your eye sight cloudy and can sometimes leaves you with a bit of raccoon eyes, nothing a cotton ball can't fix. When I use it, I like to apply the oil on my face and work it in and then move on to my eyes. When I rub this into my eyes, I try to do it as gentle as possible and really work it in. I probably spend more time rubbing in the oil on my eyes to get rid of the mascara and eyeliner than my face. When you add water it becomes a soapy cleanser and I think that's what makes all the difference. It definitely helps to prevent any greasy residue left behind and it definitely leaves your face clean. You know that great feeling when you just washed your face and it feels clean ? Yeah, this definitely gives that feeling.

I really do like this product and I plan to continue to use it. It is an easier method to remove your make up which I definitely like, I just really dislike the cloudy sight afterwards. It has yet to break me out and I use it on an almost every day base and it works. I hope you Beauts found this review helpful. Beauty Box 5 November 2013 !

Hey Beauts !
So, the other day I recieved my November Beauty Box 5 in the mail . I always love when I recieve these, however, this box came without the info card, so I won't know all the details ! But i will say this, I like this box . So normally each box has a bit of a theme and it would say it on the card, but I'm guessing that the theme if this box is more or less, like smelling and looking good ? Maybe even feeling good, relaxation ? This box actually came with 3 full size products, for 12 dollars a month, I think thats pretty awesome.


Secret Clincal Strength



This is one of three full sized products that it came with. I actually like the smell, its smells nice (as deodorant should...?). I have been thinking about trying out a new deodorant, but I'm not super crazy about the idea of using Secret. I used to use Secret when I was in middle school and it was the worst, it gave me a rash. Now I haven't tried this yet, but I am excited to try it and I'm willing to give it a go.

Aveeno Calming Body Wash


I'm a sucker for Aveeno products, I love everything they have. Their products are more on the natural side and are awesome for sensitive skin. So when I saw this, I was pretty excited. This body wash smells amazing ! It has lavender, chamomile and ylang-ylang and just seems like a nice body wash to use before going to bed or when you just want to unwind and relax. This little bottle is 2 ounces, but you could get a pretty good use out of it.

Bella Pierre Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Calm




So at first this eyeshadow threw me off a little because I normally go for more neutral eyeshadows. But I thought maybe I could use it as a eyeliner on the bottom lash. Now the picture makes it look like a bright purple, but its actually a nice shimmery eggplant purple, so its appropriate for daytime. This eyeshadow is a full sized product as well. And if I remember correctly from a previous box, these eyeshadows run for $15.

Nail Polish Remover Wipes


I havent gotten to trying these, because every time I take my nail polish off I always go to my bottle of nail polish remover. But, I do like the idea of these for your purse or traveling. They are acetone free and one wipe says to work on all ten fingers. I like the simplicity and that these are very portable, rather than having to take with you a whole bottle of nail polish remover when you are traveling.

Glacial Clay Mask


This is the third full sized item I recieved. This mask was a fabric type one, and I've never actually tried one until this one. The fabric is infused with Glacial Clay and helps clean out your pores. You're supposed to leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and after you take off the fabric, you massage whats left on your face into your skin. I like how this mask made my skin feel after, it was soft, refreshed and redness free. I normally do enjoy clay mask becausr they clean your pores but also suck up excess oil. Facial masks are always fun, whether it's store bought or homemade. Now I've never seen this exact one in stores, but I have seen this brand and they are, if I'm not mistaken, less than $ 2.

Makeup In A Hurry/ Lazy Day !

Hi Beauties !

So you know that annoying feeling when you only have maybe 5 minutes to get ready or apply makeup ? Or maybe you have somewhere to be, but you don't really feel like putting make up on. I dread those days, so here are somethings I have learned along the way to make it easier. I am no makeup pro by any means, but these are some tips I turn to those days.

- When you can, just skip makeup.

- Use products that have multiple uses or quick and easy, like a cheek and lip tint, a foundation that has a built in primer/ bb cream or a tinted lip balm.

- One of the most flattering and easiest makeup looks is eyeliner and mascara or just mascara.

- If eyeliner is a must for you, pick a method that is the easiest for you, pencil, gel, liquid or eyeshadow.

- Have a go to lipstick, lipgloss or lip stain in your purse. You won't have to worry about it when you run out the door.

- One thing I like to do is mix my Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation with my moisturizer. I don't have to worry about any dry patches and it's so much quicker.

- If you are not having a bad skin day but just have some spots, use concealer to cover them. Rather than having to apply a full face of foundation, work on the spots. Also, if you have undereye circles, have a concealer that works on spots but does not crease when you use it under your eyes.

- If your absolute must is putting on eyeshadow, then use cream eyeshadow. They are super easy and blend quickly ! Or, have a skin toned cream eyeshadow, that way it brightens your eyes and looks like you spent more time on it.

- Depending the ocassion, just wear sunglasses ! They hide everything !

I hope these tips give you beauts some ideas how to speed up your look when you are in a hurry or just don't feel like putting make up on ! When you can, its always good to just skip it and let your skin breathe. With or without make up We are all beautiful.
