My 2013 Beauty Favorites !

Hi Beauts !
I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's and an amazing year to come. So the new year if finally here ! This past year was great and I can't wait for 2014 and what's to come, 2013 had some great beauty finds that I will love always. I know that these will definitely be favorites in the year to come and I can't.wait find new ones along the way.
Foundation

This has been my go to foundation ever since I purchased it. It has amazing coverage and leaves your skin looking pretty much flawless and it has a built in primer, so it's good when you're in a hurry.
Palette

This palette will forever be one of my favorite palettes. It's so versatile, day or night look, natural or smokey eye, it does it all. I love the colors as well, very natural and silky.
Cream Eyeshadow

This paint pot is an absolute must for me. On lazy days, I put some of this on my eyelids and mascara and Im good to go. I really like the color of this because its a pinky skin color, so it helps cancel out any redness I may have on my eyelids from allergies or lack or sleep. It basically brightens my eyes and lasts all day.
Lip Products

Almay Liquid Lip Balm - Pink Pout
Sephora Rouge Shine - N 20
Covergirl - Spellbound
Mac - Snob
This year I went a little pink crazy. Rather than doing the classic red lip, i went for hot pink when I wanted a bold look. And when I wanted a more subtle hot pink, I went for the lip gloss or sheer lipstick. When I wasn't feeling either I went for the nude pink, you can never go wrong with nude pink lips.
Mascara

These mascaras are honestly heaven sent. They kinda work the same and have the same formula more or less, but they have different wands. These mascaras lengthen and separate which I love, but I love how long lasting they are. They don't flake, they don't irritate my eyes, they hold a curl pretty well and make your eyelashes look amazing yet natural.
Eyebrows

This past year, I have been eyebrow crazy. I never use to worry about them, just a little brow gel and I was good to go. But now, I really like the look and effect it gives. On lazy days, when I don't want too much make up but look put together, I do my eyebrows and mascara and feel put together.
Eyeliner

This is my favorite gel eyeliner. It's really dark and applies just as dark, not gray or a soft black. If you've used gel eyeliners that aren't the best quality, you know what I mean. The lasting proof of this eyeliner is awesome and it doesn't smudge during the day.
Nail Polish

Essie Clambake
Quimica Alemana Nail Hardner
Essie Shearling Darling
So for this year, I norrowed it down to these two Essie polishes and this nail hardner. This are the colors I turn to most, I do try to expand and I do use all my polishes. However, I love color and they go with any outfit and ocassion. As for the nail hardner, it's amazing. I used to bite my nails, so growing them out was a pain because they were so weak, but this helped and I still use it.
Face

I could put here my face wash, my toner, my moisturizer or face mask, but then I would be lying. My Clarisonic has changed my skin dramatically. Its smoother, brighter and I definitely feel a difference in my skin than when I used to use just my hands. I have noticed a difference in the amount of oil my pores are producing, which is a amaxing because I felt like a pizza some times. Brushes

Elf Angled Eyeliner Brush
Sephora Airbrush Foundation Brush

These brushes have made my life so so much easier. This foundation brush does what it says, it leaves your face looking like it was literally airbrushed. It bends everything nicely, doesnt leave any streaks behind and really helps set the foundation in place. I love gel eyeliner, it's my favorite form of eyeliner. I used to use the Smashbox Eyeliner Brush or the Real Techniques brush, and I didn't really like the end result for either one. This brush is really fine and sturdy, so it helps to make a thin line and the angle makes it easier to go in a straight line.
Candle

I love the smell of this candle, it smells like what I imagine winter to smell like, cool, crisp, and pepperminty. This candle is my favorite for 2013 because it smells amazing but I really do think you could turn it on during the year, and no one would know it's a Winter candle. It just leaves my room smelling amazing and clean.
Hair Care

Coconut Oil can be use for almost anything, moisturizer, make up remover, to make a scrub whatever really. I like to put coconut oil once a week, in my hair and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour and wash it off . It makes your hair so soft, it doesn't get rid of split end but it moisturizes your ends that it does a good job of hiding them. It's all natural so you aren't stink more chemicals on your head and you smell like coconuts at the end of it all.
Thank you so much for reading my blog and giving me a chance. I appreciate it so much, I'm so excited for this new year and I plan to work even harder on my blog for you guys !
Be you, Beyoutiful !

Christmas Nail Polishes !

Hi Beauts !
I was looking through my nail polish collection, trying to decide what polish I wanted to help get me in the spirit ! I found five that I thought would look cute alone or mixed together. And maybe you beauts may like!

(Left to Right) China Glaze Salsa, Revlon Posh, Essie Shearling Darling, Essie Hors D'oeuvres, Essie Toggle to the Top.

Now I think these are some pretty Christmas-y colors, though I do wish the green polish was more like a pine green but it works. One thing I like about nail polish for Christmastime is the variety of reds you can use. You really can't go wrong when painting your nails for Christmas.

You can't go wrong with a classic red for the hoildays. I think that if anyone had to pick only one nail polish to have during Christmas, red would be the best choice. This red polish is really pretty and I like China Glaze's formula.

I am obsessed with this color ! It's gorgeous. Its one of my favorite shades of red, it's perfect for Fall and perfect for a Christmas. It's like an oxblood/dark burgandy red color, maybe a tad lighter than oxblood. It's simple and goes with every skin tone.

When I first saw this polish, I automatically said Christmas. This bottle is the epitome of of the Holidays all squished into one little tiny bottle. Its the perfect red color with red glitter. All you need is two coats and you are good to go !

Ok, so I had to put something green, this post can't consist of only all red polishes. I'm planning on using this polish to do a little tree design on my nail. If it were the slightest darker, it would be perfect but I think it works. Does it have that Christmas tree feel ?

What's Christmas without glitter and sparkle ?! I thought this polish would look amazing with any of these nail polishes either as an accent nail or a coat or two on top . I really like this one, because it has a gold base with small and chunkier silver glitter. It reminds me of Christmas lights and ornaments.

Thumb- Shearling Darling
Pointer- Posh
Middle- Toggle to the Top
Ring- Salsa
Pinky- Hors D'oeuvres
I hope you Beauts found this helpful and inspired you to paint your nails all Christmas-y and festive ! Thanks for reading !

Black Friday 2013 Haul !!

Hi Beauts !
So this year, you could technically say was my first official Black Friday. Last year I went to Target around 1in the morning with my friend, and I barely bought anything. So this year, I kinda went a little crazy, but not too bad. I went to Bath and Body Works, Target, Forever 21, and MAC. The place I bought the most was Bath and Body Works, I got 6 body sprays, 2 candles and the VIP bag.

Now, what I liked the most about this Buy 3, Get 3 Free Special was unlimited. Forever Red and Forever Midnight were included in the special only on Black Friday, they normally never are. So I had to get them, they smell so so good. The other four I got, also smell really nice. I really like buying this because you get alot of variety, I go through periods of time where I obsess with one and then move on. But I like these because rather than sticking to just one perfume, I can switch it up and not get tired of the smell.

Ok, so lately I have been loving candles that smell manly...let's take a moment for that to sink in. I like a lot of sweet and fresh smells, but lately those candles that smell like Mens cologne are just heavenly. Flannel and Black Tie are basically in the same family as Mohagany Teakwood. I don't have enough words to describe just how amazing these are.

BBW had a VIP bag, so when you bought about $40 worth of stuff, you can get bag for $20. I believe the total price of this bag is supposed to be $140, but for 20 I think its way worth it . It comes with 4 full sized products, a mini candle and a Forever Red sample. Oh and a loofah ! Everything in this bag is really awesome and the bag is really cute. It would be pretty ideal to give it to someone as a gift, it's not a matching set but it's pretty much everything you need.

I went to Sephora to see what specials they had and to look for the Lorac Pro Palette. They didn't have any specials I liked and that store doesn't carry the Pro Palette, so I just walked out and made my way to MAC. I went with the intentions of buying a lipstick and I'm very happy with my find. It's called Snob and its a beautiful shade of pink. It's a mauvey kind of pink but at the same time has that pale nude, natural lip color look. I love this color and the formulation, it's not too dry.

Forever 21 was the first store I went to, at my mall they were expanding the store so they moved it to another area in the mall. It's now literally the first store you see when enter. They were having a special on scarves, certain ones were $5. I really wanted a simpe scarf that would match with everything but wasn't too thick. I found this one and I really liked it. I thought the gold was a nice touch but wasn't too over powering. Its made of really thin material, so it could be worn in warmer weather.

I went to Target hoping they would have specials on clothing and sure enough they did ! They had 40% off on a good chunk of stuff but not everything. I love their cardigans, they're cute and comfy and they were 40 % off, so I went with a light gray and brown one. I have been dying to buy the oatmeal color but they didn't have it in my size. The long sleeved shirts were $6, so i grabbed this oatmeal and heather gray stripped shirt. Its so yummy and comfy, the material is so soft.
I hope you beauts had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I wanted to take time to thank the people that read my blog. I know my blog isn't big and totally out there, but the few people that do, Thank you for making my dream into reality. Whether its one person or one hundred, we should appreciate the small things as well.

Beauty Box 5 November 2013 !

Hey Beauts !
So, the other day I recieved my November Beauty Box 5 in the mail . I always love when I recieve these, however, this box came without the info card, so I won't know all the details ! But i will say this, I like this box . So normally each box has a bit of a theme and it would say it on the card, but I'm guessing that the theme if this box is more or less, like smelling and looking good ? Maybe even feeling good, relaxation ? This box actually came with 3 full size products, for 12 dollars a month, I think thats pretty awesome.

Secret Clincal Strength

This is one of three full sized products that it came with. I actually like the smell, its smells nice (as deodorant should...?). I have been thinking about trying out a new deodorant, but I'm not super crazy about the idea of using Secret. I used to use Secret when I was in middle school and it was the worst, it gave me a rash. Now I haven't tried this yet, but I am excited to try it and I'm willing to give it a go.

Aveeno Calming Body Wash

I'm a sucker for Aveeno products, I love everything they have. Their products are more on the natural side and are awesome for sensitive skin. So when I saw this, I was pretty excited. This body wash smells amazing ! It has lavender, chamomile and ylang-ylang and just seems like a nice body wash to use before going to bed or when you just want to unwind and relax. This little bottle is 2 ounces, but you could get a pretty good use out of it.

Bella Pierre Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Calm

So at first this eyeshadow threw me off a little because I normally go for more neutral eyeshadows. But I thought maybe I could use it as a eyeliner on the bottom lash. Now the picture makes it look like a bright purple, but its actually a nice shimmery eggplant purple, so its appropriate for daytime. This eyeshadow is a full sized product as well. And if I remember correctly from a previous box, these eyeshadows run for $15.

Nail Polish Remover Wipes

I havent gotten to trying these, because every time I take my nail polish off I always go to my bottle of nail polish remover. But, I do like the idea of these for your purse or traveling. They are acetone free and one wipe says to work on all ten fingers. I like the simplicity and that these are very portable, rather than having to take with you a whole bottle of nail polish remover when you are traveling.

Glacial Clay Mask

This is the third full sized item I recieved. This mask was a fabric type one, and I've never actually tried one until this one. The fabric is infused with Glacial Clay and helps clean out your pores. You're supposed to leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and after you take off the fabric, you massage whats left on your face into your skin. I like how this mask made my skin feel after, it was soft, refreshed and redness free. I normally do enjoy clay mask becausr they clean your pores but also suck up excess oil. Facial masks are always fun, whether it's store bought or homemade. Now I've never seen this exact one in stores, but I have seen this brand and they are, if I'm not mistaken, less than $ 2.

Essie Encrusted Treasures Collection !

Hi Beauts !
So the other day I went to a local salon supply store where I like to buy my nail stuff and I noticed they had the new Essie polishes. This place always has them before any other store where I live. So I'm guessing this line is supposed to be like luxurious liquid diamonds for your nails and it shows. I really like the look of them, they don't really look like your typical glitter nail polish.

Left to Right: Ignite the Night, On a Silver Platter, Belugaria, Lots of Lux and Hors D'oeuvres.

I bought 5 out of 6 of them. The one i didn't buy was Peak of Chic and that was because its a type of glitter Im not crazy about. It looks like that nail polish that is suppose to look "fuzzy", like bars of glitter. The rest of them, i was really drawn to because of the colors and style of glitter.

Ignite the Night
Regular mini sized glitter, nothing extravagant but it's not your typical silver glitter. It has silver and dark gray glitter and would probably look nice over and nail polish.

Lots of Lux

This one is one of my favorites ! It's a really pretty blue color with blue glitter, however this one is textured. It looks like caviar, literally caviar on you nails. Once it dries it has a semi matte look to it.

Belugaria

This nail polish is a lot like Lots of Lux except its a black polish and has pieces of chunky silver glitter. Its really pretty and makes you feel pretty luxurious, in my opinion.

On A Silver Platter

Super gorgeous nail polish, honestly I don't think I have ever seen any like this. It has a gold base to it, but not opaque. It has small and big blue holographic glitter, i think if you build this one up a bit it could be worn on its own.

Hors D'oeuvres

This polish is some what similar to On A Silver Platter, it has a gold glittery base. But, instead it has silver small and chunky glitter. I am actually thinking about using this one for Christmas with China Glaze Salsa.

Now, I know my blog isn't about nail polish, but I can't help it ! I have this love for it . I think these nail polishes are super pretty and a must. Thank you for reading ! Take care Beauts !
