Hi Beauts !

It's sadly been way too long ! I have been working so much lately, that I don't even have time to do things I normally do like workout or read a book. Now things aren't slowing down work wise, but my schedule won't be so out of sorts, so fingers crossed that means more blogging ! Now the other day I was playing around with some make up and actually ended up with one that I actually really like. I think this makeup look is great for Fall, it's a nice taupe/purple eye shadow look, which I personally love. Now I'm no makeup professional or anything but I hope you beauts like this look ! So let's get to it...

So after I primed my eyes, I applied Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe on just my eyelids. This cream eye shadow helps to the eye shadow that's going over it to pop more and bring out the gray undertone a bit more.

After that, I swept Liar over just the lid and blending it out just a bit. I love the color of this eye shadow, it's this really pretty mauve/gray eye shadow, The mauve-y tone in the eye shadow adds a really nice pop of color for the Fall time, without being so bright and vibrant like you would wear during Spring or Summer.

As for the crease color, I applied Nooner and blended away and then some more. Okay can I just break slightly off topic and say that this crease color is amazing. It's the best combination of brown with a hint of pink, so it's not that typical matte brown shadow that you use everyday, which I have no problem with because I like me some of those too.

Off to eyeliner. With a smudge brush I applied eye liner on to the top outer half lash line. The eye liner doesn't have to look perfect but you definitely don't want to make it too thick.

With the same brush, I took Darkside and smudged the eyeliner with that. Now you can smudge it as much as you want, what it comes down to is how you like it. With that same shadow I applied that to the outer v of my eye to smoke out the look a bit and whatever product is left on your brush, you'll want to use that to line your bottom lash line. Once you've blended everything out and your happy with your eye look, curl your lashes and apply a few coats of your favorite mascara.

Hey Beauts !

It's Sunday ! I'm sorry I could not do the last one, unfortunately I have been working like a crazy woman. I have crazy amount of respect for people who can balance out their work life, personal life and a blog. It's not an easy task. Well let's get to this weeks questions !

1. What is the most difficult thing you have been through ?

I would definitely say losing my grandmother. She played a very large role in my life and a constant inspiration in my life. I lost her 3 years ago and it's definitely still something I struggle with everyday.

2. What was your best birthday ?

I want to say my 21st birthday and not because of the obvious. I have never been a birthday party kind of person and on this birthday a spontaneous party just kind of happened. There was great people and all just had a really fun time. It was also my last birthday that my grandma was able to attend.

3. What has been your favorite thing you've done in your own city ?

For sure going to the beach . Living in Miami means you can pretty much go to the beach year round and never worry about the temperature.

One of the reasons I love my city.

4. What is your idea of the perfect date night ?

So I have always wanted a late night date type of thing, where we go to either Denny's or IHOP to eat and then drive over to the beach to watch the sunrise. I am a giant cheese ball.

5. Have you ever been to a blogging conference ? If so which (ones) ? If not do you want to ?
I have never been to one and yes I would want to go, could be interesting !

I hope you Beauts have a beautiful Sunday and enjoy your week ! Until next time, take care and thank you for reading.

Hey Beauts !

So I know I've been slacking a bit, and I did apologize for it on another post and then I did it again... I'm a bit of a scatter brain and that's no excuse but I think it's pretty obvious. I am determined to change it and I will !

I have done about 4 of these and I really enjoy them and find them great. I think the ladies who thought up this concept and the great questions are pretty genius and awesome, if you ask me. I'll stop blabbering away and get to it, so yeah !

1. Favorite genre of music ?

I can't decide ! I really do like different genres of music and to pick just one, is pretty difficult for me because my taste varies so much and I just really love all music.

2. Favorite genre of movies ?

Same thing with movies, I really enjoy watching movies and love so many of them and to pick just one puts you in a pickle, but my absolute favorites (yeah I can't pick just one..typical) are horror and romantic comedies.

3. Do you watch reality TV ? If so what was the first show you remember watching ?

Yes I do, I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I am guilty of watching it from time to time. The Hills. When I was in high school, me and my best friend would call each other and would watch the show and talk on the phone at the same time, good times.

4. Actress you'd be BFF's with ?

Betty White or be part of the Golden Girls.

5. Actor you'd be happy to be stuck on an island with ?

Liam Neeson or Ralph Fiennes, two of my favorite actors.

Check the ladies that do Sunday Social every week, their blogs are pretty awesome and cool. I hope you Beauts liked this post and hopefully you guys noticed just how scattered brain I really am. Thank you for reading it means a lot to me ! Hope you all have a beautiful week.

Hi Beauts !

Summer is finally here ! Just saying that makes me so pumped and excited . I normally don't wear a lot of makeup during the summer because well for one, a good tan almost hides it all and gives you that amazing summer glow and it's just so hot, the last thing you want to worry about is your make up. The reality about summer makeup is, you start your day with it but by the end of the day it's completely gone and that's not fun. Now when I do decided to apply any makeup I keep it very minimal and use products I know will stay on pretty much all day and also won't cake up when I sweat. So let's get to it !

Now this here is a sunscreen that is also tinted, so it helps protect your skin from the sun but helps even out the skin tone. Now you might be thinking " Why doesn't she just use a BB Cream ?", I went to the store set on a sunscreen because it was important to me to find a good sunscreen and one that I knew would work well with my skin. This product is not greasy or sticky like others, it's a mineral sunscreen so it actually feels nice on your skin. It has organic ingredients and does not contain any hash chemicals, which is always a plus for me.

I'm pretty sure I have mentioned this before but I love this mascara. I'm basically always debating between this mascara and Benefit's They're Real, which is another must have, but I chose this one because it is waterproof. Waterproof mascara during summertime is an absolutely must, it basically guarantees that you won't have raccoon eyes midday, which is good. It's waterproof, doesn't flake and makes your lashes look amazing, so you are pretty much set

I love being outside and tanning during the summer time, but I also like to be careful with the amount of sun exposure my skin gets. In all honesty my skin barely tans, it gets some color but not much. I use bronzer to give my skin the appearance that it has more color than it actually does, because lets face it I'll probably never have gorgeous bronzed skin. I like this one because it's very natural looking and doesn't apply muddy or orange.

When you first look at this blush you think it might not be the greatest choice to wear during the day because it has tiny specks of glitter. I honestly thought that same way until I decided to play around with it. When you blend it in to your skin, it just gives you this amazing flushed glow. It compliments bronzed skin beautifully and just really helps you achieve that nice summer glow. Also, I have oily skin and because it has Amazonian Clay, it's the only blush that stays in place and doesn't melt off your face.

During summer I like very low maintenance makeup, that goes for my lips as well. I like products that I know I can just apply them and be on with whatever I am doing. These products are perfect for that because they aren't very heavy so they won't run off your lips and make you look like a clown. They are very easy and simple and the colors look great during summer.

This nail polish is absolutely perfect for summer and a must have for me. This nail polish looks amazing with cute sandals and a great tan. The bright coral compliments so many skin tones, so even if you don't like tanning this nail polish will look great on you.

This is probably an everyday essential for almost everyone and for me as well, but especially during summer. I like to use this to help give me more of that beautiful summer glow. I like applying this to the inner corner or my eyes, my eyelids and brow bone. It also stays on all day and doesn't crease.

These sheets are a must have summer essential for me, like I mentioned before I have very oily skin, so these are great to have. These sheets wipe off the oil from your skin but they don't wipe your makeup off or spread it around your face. They are great to have in your purse and leave your face feeling refreshed and clean.

These are my absolutely summer essentials and without it them, I would probably look a little funky. I hope these products help you find new things that might work on you or add to your summer essentials. I hope you Beauts have an awesome summer ! Thank you so much for reading !

I have a confession to make, I'm a secret procrastinator, well it actually it is not a secret. I struggle getting things done when I am suppose to and never really want to do them. For the longest time I had the habit of putting things off for as long as I could, until I HAD to do it, like last minute had to. I got to the point where enough was enough and something had to change. I decided to become somewhat more organized and structured. This is what has worked for me and I hope it can help you !

1. Find what works for you .
We are all different, so what may work for me might not work for you. So whether it's to do lists, keeping an agenda, using an app in your phone or your computer, find which style you feel would best work for your type of personality. I personally use an agenda and post it's to make to do lists, so that I make sure I get things done.

2. Make a weekly and daily to do list.
Sundays are probably the perfect day for this, check your calendar for what you may have noted down for the up coming week and see if you have any appointments, dates, meetings, whatever it may that you have and base your weekly schedule around that. Make a list of everything that has to get done that week so that way your daily planning does not become annoying or won't put you in a bad mood. As for your daily planning, once you have woken up and you are ready to tackle the day, make a list of the tasks that must be done that day, whether it's top priority or not.

3. Tackle your top priorities first.
When you write out you daily to do list, write out your absolute must do's for the day first and do them. The more important ones might be the most dreaded but also will give you the greater amount of satisfaction. Rather than feeling all blah the entire day because you know you have stuff to do that you are not necessarily excited for, you can feel satisfied and confident because you actually pulled through and got the worst out of the way.

4. Make checking your agenda/calendar everyday a habit.
The more you attempt to try to stay organized, the easier it will come along for you. Try and make checking what ever form of organization you use daily base, this will help keep you organized but also help instill this habit in you, which means organization in the long run.

5. Make writing important dates and notes a must.
I cannot tell you how many times people tell me the date of a birthday or a get together and I tell myself remember and off it goes to the land of the forgotten. It's a lot better if you jot it down somewhere where you will see it constantly, whether it's a reminder in your phone or a sticky notes on your mirror, get it somewhere besides your brain. Whenever I go to the grocery I have to make a list of what I need and might want because I can assure you that once I leave, there will be something that I needed an it will not be in my bags.

6. Set deadlines for yourself.
The thing about us procrastinators is that we wait for the very last minute to get things done, if not, everything would be great. Even with deadlines and constant reminders we just can't help putting things off. So how do you beat that ? Give yourself a deadline. Create one for yourself and stick to it as best as possible, this will give you time for other priorities but also if you might want to make some changes. Consider what it is your preparing for and based on that plan how soon you want it done, whether a week, 3 days, whatever works best for you, just make sure you get it done.
7. Be realistic.
So many times, the night before I plan to do so many things and I end up get half of them done. When you plan your to do list for the day, remember you are human. Try to be realistic when you are trying to get things done, don't give yourself twenty things to do in just one day and expect to do them all. Take other things into consideration and don't over do it, exhaustion is not good. The only terrible part of being human is that we can't split into ten versions of ourselves and get everything done all at once, it's a shame though. So be realistic and be nice to yourself, don't be that sucky person that wants to give you a million things to do and expects it done that same day. You are human and there are 365 days in a year, so chill out.

I'm not trying to tell you Beauts that these tips are a must and that everyone should follow these ideas, but I do definitely think they help. They have definitely helped me, sure I still fail every now and then but I try and it gets things done. I don't think it's hard to stay organized, I just think you have to really want it and live by a system that works for you. Once you have that down, nothing can get in your way. I hope this post helps you Beauts out in some way. I am planning on posting a lot more frequently than I have been lately, I know I have been lost. Thank you so much for reading !

It has been too LONG ! I was starting to feel like I lost a piece of me. I'm sorry I disappeared for a bit, things got a little busy and somewhat personal. I needed some me time to just figure out some personal issues but I'm BACK ! I can't tell you guys just how happy blogging makes me and how great I feel typing this. So just because I went away a little doesn't mean I didn't have a few favorites in April. So let's get to it !
So this past month I have been brightening up my make up a bit, so I have been using this as eyeliner on my bottom lid. It gives a great subtle pop of color and stays put pretty much all day, plus the color is super pretty .

Mighty Leaf Tea Chamomile Citrus

I really like drinking tea before bed time or that mid day pick me and lately I have really been liking this one. It has a really nice flavor and I really enjoy the citrus as well. It really helps to calm me down and get ready for bed. I'm naturally a night person, it doesn't matter what time I wake up, once the sun goes down I'm a buzzing bee and it's sort of hard for me to come down from that. So, this has been helping and the taste is awesome.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

I normally have a love/hate relationship with drugstore concealers, they either work or don't. I bought this one with the intentions of using it on any blemishes and redness that I may have. Well, I decided to try it under my eyes to cover up my dark circles and it worked ! Normally anything under my eyes creases and this one did but just the smallest amount. It really blends in nicely and gives this natural bright glow to your eyes. This concealer is not full coverage, but I like to think of it as a BB cream type product. I doesn't eliminate the blemish or redness completely but it covers it enough that it makes it look way better and natural.

I hope you Beauts found this helpful and I'm so glad to be back and blogging ! I'm in the process of maybe setting up a schedule, I'm not quite sure yet, but I'll definitely keep you Beauts posted !

I won't lie to you and say I don't like these types of post, because I do. I love knowing what people hold in their purses and for some unknown reason, I find it fascinating. Whenever I read or watch any of these posts on YouTube, I feel like a little kid watching Mary Poppins go through her purse, somewhat weird ? Yeah. I think what we carry in our purse gives people a lot of insight to who we are. Now the contents in my purse are not exactly amazing or super interesting, just necessary, well for me anyways. So here we go !
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion- I don't like having dry hands, at all.

About a couple of month ago, I got very fed up with the lifestyle I was living. I was eating pure trash really, heavily processed foods, sweets and a ton of white carbohydrates. I felt very lazy and lethargic, my body felt so sluggish and slow just because of what I was feeding my body. My acne was definitely acting up, I was having breakouts and it was just oil overload on my face. I finally told myself that enough is enough, so I made myself change. Before I get into this, please remember I am NOT a certified nutritionist, what I know about health is research I've done on the internet. This is what has been working for my body, everybody is different and I'm not trying to say that you HAVE to change.

The first thing I did was cut out heavily processed foods. No more frozen pizza or meals, potato chips, fast food, anything with hydrogenated oils, High Fructose Corn Syrup, MSG, GMOs.

Soda and Sugared drinks were next. I figured if soda and sugary juices have no health benefits like water, why drink them ?

Once I had a little better control of my "diet", I started exercising. I started with fast pace walking for an hour and then started to progress into somewhat more intense workouts. Right now, what I love to do is Tone It Up videos on YouTube. Their workouts are amazing and really make you sweat.

I make myself drink a lot of water. I keep a water bottle with me at all times, even on my bedside table before going to bed. Ever since I started drinking a lot of water, I have noticed a difference in my acne and how I feel overall.

I love love coffee. I can have it whenever, wherever. I personally don't think that coffee is really bad for you, but some say otherwise. I used to love flavored coffee creamers, I always had to have it with my coffee. I stopped buying them because of the ingredients it has, so instead I use organic half and half, which tastes just as good and is better for me.

If I can't pronounce it or know what it is, I won't eat it, ingredient wise. If it's loaded with chemicals and preservatives, how good can it be for you ?

I had to make myself understand that there are good carbohydrates and bad ones, they aren't all bad. I try not to eat anything "white", like bread, pasta, rice and so on. I have substituted all of those with healthier whole grain/wheat versions .

I like to have fruit and nut bars as a snack or keep them in my purse in case if I get hungry, that way I have something in stomach to hold me over to my next meal. I really like Lara bars and Kind bars, they are delicious and all natural.

Breakfast ! I love breakfast food but have never been a breakfast person, eating so soon just doesn't make me feel right. I started to ease myself into breakfast little by little. I love having fruit, toast and eggs or oatmeal. It really just depends what I'm craving when I wake up.

Portion control... Whenever you are starving an finally get the chance to eat, you just go crazy eating, well not literally, but I think we all must have experienced that once in our lives. I had to learn proper portions, like a giant bowl of just mac n cheese or a giant steak isn't really a smart choice. When I eat meals, I like for plate to have lots of vegetables, healthy protein and some carbohydrates depending what I'm eating. So my plate will be half veggies, a quarter protein and the other quarter carbohydrates/starch.

What I mainly strive for is a healthy and clean lifestyle, but that doesn't mean I don't cheat, because I do. It's ok to have a cookie or a piece of cake, those things don't make you unhealthy. The unhealthiest thing you could do to your body is deprive it of everything you love but also going overboard with those things. Anyone can eat clean and have junk food and still be healthy. There is a saying I like to tell my friends when they are on restrictive diets or any diet for that matter, and that is that you an eat everything in moderation. You really can eat that cookie and those two chips and not gain 20 pounds and heart disease, it doesn't work that way. It's really all about smart choices, you can still enjoy food and have a healthy relationship with food if you just live by smart decisions.Eating healthy is not about losing weight, it's about feeling good from the inside out. No matter your size or shape, I believe everyone should eat right, but only if they want to. Believe in yourself and you'll go far. I'm thinking about doing a blog post showing you Beauts just an idea what I eat in a day let me know if that is something you would like to see.

Take Care Beauts !

I honestly can't believe March is over, where did it go ?! For a month that has 31 days, it feels more like 5. Normally from month to month my favorites don't really change. I'll fall in love with something here and there but not really enough to do a blog post about it. This month, I don't have a ton of favorites but I definitely want to share them with you !

I have been dying to find a shampoo that cleans my hair right but doesn't dry it out and I think I finally found it ! This Dove shampoo is amazing and a definite must have. It cleans my hair but doesn't strip it of it's natural oils and moisture and I like how it makes my hair feels.

Burberry Perfume

I have had this perfume for more than a year but never really reached for it. One day I just grabbed it and fell in love with the smell. It's a very mild smell, you can smell that it's there but it's not a heavy smell. Once it settles on my skin and with my body chemistry it smells fruity and vanilla-y. It's not an overly sweet smell, it is sightly sweet but then you get this hint of warmness and it just smells amazing.

Oh this bag ! I bought this bag from Just Fab and I didn't think I was going to love this bag as much as I do. It's the perfect shoulder bag, it's not too big and not too small, it can really hold a lot. What I really like the most is you can definitely wear this purse casually but also wear it with a more dressier, sophisticated look. Oh and it's pocket galore ! This bag literally has like 8 pockets, which is great when you want to fill it up.

Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss in Lovechild

Can I be forward and say I love this ! This is my new absolute favorite, it's just like the most perfect lip product ever. The color is called Lovechild and it's this perfect better than your natural lips kind of color. The formula isn't goopy or sticky like other lip glosses, it's very moisturizing and flattering and feel like a second skin. If you want to see a swatch, I mentioned this in my Spring Lip Must Haves, so check it out !

Real Techniques Accent Brush and Eye shadow ( I bought this at a drugstore a while ago and don't remember the name and it doesn't have a label !)

I really like the way my eyes look with eyeliner. Some days I don't want such a defined look but more natural. I use this dark brown eye shadow with my Real Techniques Accent Brush and just dab it long my lash line. I gives my eyes a really nice shape and makes my lashes look a lot thicker.

I hope you Beauts liked my March Favorites ! Hopefully I can continue to do more of these, might have to force myself to try new things, ha ! What was your favorites during March ? Take care !
Spring is finally here ! I know for some of you Beauts, what you see outside of your window says otherwise, however I'm so excited for the season and to be able to use all of these on my lips. Nothing says Spring better than a beautiful bright lip. Some of these are some newer purchases and some are constant repeats. I love every single one of these products and that's probably why I keep using them again and again and find them perfect for this time of year.
Lately, my most recent go to lip is either Lovechild or Breathtaking Apricot, Lovechild is more of a natural nudey pink and Breathtaking Apricot is a gorgeous coral. They are both amazingly moisturizing and easy to apply. I find all of these different shades of pink would look great on just about anyone. Now, I know pink isn't the only lip color that you can wear during spring, you can wear any color, really it doesn't matter. There is just something about pink this time of year that just screams "Spring" to me. It makes me excited for the change in seasons and for all the beautiful bright colors.

I hope you Beauts found this helpful and feel inspired to wear a pretty bold and bright lip this season ! What are your Spring lip must haves ? I would love to know !

We all have those bad weeks that by the time Friday comes around, we just need some relaxation and "me" time. When I have really stressful week, I like to take full advantage of my day off. Now sometimes I make plans to go out that day but if I don't make any plans, it's a set pamper day. These days are an absolute must for me, they really help to relax and just unwind and just forget about the past week. Spa days really help you to get in that state of mind where you can think a lot clearer and be happy. Now depending what you like you don't have to go to some expensive spa to help you relax, if you have all the right products, you can do it at home !

What you'll need:
A candle of your choice
Facial masks
Body cream
Hair mask
Sugar Scrub
Nail polish
Blackhead strips
Tea
A movie or book/magazine

Facial masks are hands down a necessities for me when I have my pamper day. I have rather oily skin and when you add stress on top of that, let's just say it's not very pretty. I like using either one of these on my skin, it just depends what my skin is needing that week. If I want a deep clean and all the gunk out of my face, I'll use the Freeman Dead Sea Mineral mask, it leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshingly clean. If I want a more mild facial mask, something that will get rid of dead skin cells to prevent any more acne, I'll use Freeman Peel - Off mask. This one is really cool because when you apply it, it has this gel like consistency and as it dries it becomes a very thin, transparent layer on your skin. It is super fun to peel it off of your face and you can see all gunk that it has taken off of your face.

Oily skin means the very dreadful blackheads, and I dislike them very much. I like these because they pull everything out of nose and they don't really damage my skin. The only I will say, is use blackhead strips once a week. The last time I used them, the day right after, I noticed that it dried out my nose a bit, but it wasn't to bad. These strips take out all the oil and dirt that is on my nose to further prevent more blackheads from coming up. I only use these once a week or once every two weeks, it just depends how my nose is looking.

Pamper days don't just mean facial mask, they mean hair mask too. I love washing my hair, it is really relaxing and it really calms me down. I normally wash my hair about 2 to 3 times a week, honestly it just depends what is going on that week. By the end of the week my hair is just dull and dry and my ends are seriously lacking. I like using coconut oil because it really replenishes my hair, it puts back all the missing moisture back in, it makes my hair super silky and smooth and it's natural. I usually apply this first and let it sit on my hair as I do everything else. I normally like to leave it in for an hour to an hour and a half.

It's just not a full on pamper day, if there is no sugar scrub involved. I really like exfoliating my skin with this sugar scrub, it leaves my skin really soft and smooth and moisturized. If you don't have a sugar scrub you can always make one at home or just take some sugar with you into the shower and mix it with a little bit of body wash. If you want to try a homemade one, I have a blog post showing you how I made this exact scrub, Coconut Oil Sugar Scrub. Exfoliating is good for your skin because you are scrubbing off all the dead skin cells that are just laying on your skin, it improves the texture of your skin and helps your skin to look it's best as possible.

Moisturizer ! For my spa day I like to use a rich cream rather than lotion. Body creams, are thicker and because of that they create this barrier on top of your skin that help to keep moisture in. Lotions, on the other hand are a lot more "watery" so your skin absorbs it a lot quicker and it doesn't really create that barrier. I really like this one because it smells really good and it makes my skin super soft. I like to use this after my very spa like bath and just rub it into my skin.

Another thing that I love to do during spa day is paint my nails. It helps to not think about anything else other than what color I want to paint my nails and it helps me feel pretty. Let's face it Beauts, we can't help but feel like a million dollars when we have a killer manicure. So get your favorite nail polish or whatever color you have been dying to use and paint them nails !

I love drinking tea and I especially love it when I'm relaxing. After I have done all my masks and painting my nails and applying cream, I like to sit down with a cup of tea and a good book. I always drink tea when I'm getting ready for bed because I'm such a hyper person and I'm constantly moving, that it just really helps me to relax and fall asleep. I normally will have chamomile tea but I received these in my last BirchBox and I really like them.

Having days like this isn't just healthy for mind, it's also healthy for your body. High stress levels and over working your body can just throw everything out of wack in your body. It's really good to just relax and put your worries aside for just one day. I love having these days because they remind of what really matters in life is happiness. If you are hard on yourself like I am about your outer appearance, little things like these can help you see just how beautiful you really are .

I really hope you Beauts liked this post and found it really helpful ! Hope you all have a beautiful day !

So, I was on the hunt for a new make up remover after I ran out of my previous one. I always like to try out new make up removers and see if I like them or not and maybe find a new favorite. Lately, I have been really wanting to try out an oil cleanser and see if they work well or not and if I like them or not. Now when I saw this one at the store I was contemplating it because it's an oil base cleanser and I have oily skin. I thought oil on top of oil, can't be good but still I thought I'd give it a shot. So far I give this a 3.5 out of 5. It takes off almost all of your make up and doesn't leave an oily residue on your face afterwards. It does however, make your eye sight cloudy and can sometimes leaves you with a bit of raccoon eyes, nothing a cotton ball can't fix. When I use it, I like to apply the oil on my face and work it in and then move on to my eyes. When I rub this into my eyes, I try to do it as gentle as possible and really work it in. I probably spend more time rubbing in the oil on my eyes to get rid of the mascara and eyeliner than my face. When you add water it becomes a soapy cleanser and I think that's what makes all the difference. It definitely helps to prevent any greasy residue left behind and it definitely leaves your face clean. You know that great feeling when you just washed your face and it feels clean ? Yeah, this definitely gives that feeling.

I really do like this product and I plan to continue to use it. It is an easier method to remove your make up which I definitely like, I just really dislike the cloudy sight afterwards. It has yet to break me out and I use it on an almost every day base and it works. I hope you Beauts found this review helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially if they have try skin. If you try it out, let me know in the comments, I'm curious to know what you Beauts think of it ! Hope you all have an amazing day. Thank you for reading !

I have always enjoyed these posts, whether it's a blog post or a YouTube video. When it comes to my make up bag or even my purse, I become a hoarder. I start throwing things in there that I don't use on a day to day base and forget, and when It's time to organize I have a million things and can barely close the bag. I keep what I use almost every day in my make up bag, it makes it way easier when I'm in a hurry. I actually don't like taking my make up bag everywhere with me, unless I'm traveling or staying over a friend's house. The most I'll keep in my purse is lip balm or whatever I'm wearing on my lips that day, that's pretty much it. My make up bag is constantly changing what it has inside because I'm constantly changing things in my routine. Some days I like a more on my eyes, but the majority of my days, I like simple and natural make up. So this is what I currently have in my make up bag !

Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara- This is one of three mascaras I have to have. I love it because it separates my lashes and they definitely don't clump up. I never really use the same mascara every day, it honestly depends on my mood and how I want my mascara to look. So if I want my eyelashes separated and lengthened I will go with this one.

e.l.f Eyebrow Kit- I really like having my eyebrows filled in, it makes them look nice and neat. On days where I don't really feel like wearing make up but want to look presentable, I will only apply the powder and it looks really natural. I really like this kit because before I tried this one, all the other were either too dark or would fade away. This one stays all day, doesn't fade and matches perfectly.

MAC Fluidline Eye Liner- I love this eyeliner and probably use it almost every day. It applies super dark and smooth and stays on all day. I personally like gel eyeliner best and this is one that has to always be in my make up bag.

MAC ProLongwear Paint Pot in Painterly- I swear by this stuff. When I decide to not wear any eye shadow or want minimal make up on, this is the only thing I will apply on my eyes. It brightens and evens out my eyelids, doesn't crease and matches my skin tone almost perfectly.

Eos Smooth Sphere Lip Balm Summer Fruit- I am a bit of a lip balm addict, I will keep buying new ones even when I have a bunch already. This is the one I currently have in my make up bag, and I really like it. It moisturizes my lips perfectly and is a great base for when I want to apply something over it.

Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion- Whenever I wear and thing on my eyes, I always use this primer and it's my favorite. So far It's the only primer that works really well with my oily eyelids.

Benefit They're Real ! Mascara- This mascara is another favorite of mine. It accentuates your natural lashes, separates them and makes them look real pretty. I don't really like the look of really thick clumpy eyelashes, I like them to look like my natural lashes but longer and more

Benefit the POREfessional Primer- This primer shrinks my pores into nothing and smooths out my skin. For a bit I stopped using this and now that I think about it, I don't know why. This primer works really well but also doesn't turn my face into a grease ball, which products can do.

Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara- This is the only clear mascara I have ever really used on my eyebrows. It does the job well, it's one of my favorite products and only costs like $3. So it's a win.

Dr.Jart+ Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm- I like my current foundation, however some days I just want something that's going to even out my skin tone and provide little coverage. This BB cream has pretty good coverage, feels really light on my skin and hasn't broken me out, which is good. I can either apply it with my hands or a brush

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick 101- This lipstick is the perfect pink nude color. It looks great when I do a neutral eye using the Naked Basics palette or when all I on my face is some color on my lips.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette- This palette is one of my absolute favorites. It's great for neutral looks, which are some of my favorites, but you can also great some great bold looks as well.

Lancome Artliner Precision Point EyeLiner- Lately, I have been practicing my liquid liner and trying to get the hang of it. This is my favorite liquid liner I have tried so far, it's very black and opaque, isn't streaky or too liquidy. It's also really easy to apply.

Revlon Eyelash Curler- The only drugstore eyelash curler that actually curls my lashes, rather than bending them, so to say. My previous eyelash curler, didn't actually curl them, it would crimp them so they kind of looked like the letter L.

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara- And my third favorite mascara. This mascara gives great volume and separates your lashes perfectly, but what I like the most is it doesn't make your lashes crunchy. Once it dries, your lashes are really soft and flexible and don't flake.

Maybelline Mineral Power Finishing Veil- When I first bought this and tried it out, I couldn't see a difference on my face. Then I decided to try it again and I love it. It sets my make up in place without being too powdery, and just helps your skin look flawless.

I hope you Beauts like this post ! I try not to keep a lot in my make up bag, but as I'm looking over this, I'm realizing I have a lot in my make up bag. What is one thing you HAVE to have in your make up bag ? Leave a comment down below and let me know !

I want to try out this new "series" on my blog called My Week in a Post. I think it's a fun way to record memories but also a great way for you Beauts to get to know me better. The majority of my post are beauty and make up related and are some what personal, but at the same time they aren't. So i thought this would be a great way !

So this week we had beautiful weather and I just had to take a picture because sometimes I take that beautiful weather for granted. Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to live in a place that its summer year round. I have been wanting some flowers for my room so I bought these medium sized roses in a blush color. They're beautiful. I bought Essie's Spring line and I'm so excited ! I really like the colors and thought it was appropriate with the beautiful weather we've been having .

Hope you Beauts had a beautiful week !

I remember when I first started to mess with makeup, I was 12. I had started off with lip gloss and eyeliner and then made my way over to my very first palette. It brought 6 neutral eye shadows and I had purchased it at a dollar store. Now it wasn't the worst but it did serve it's purpose. When I ventured more into make up, i found myself confused and really unsure, I would borrow some of my Mom's lipsticks and would look ridiculous because they did not go with my age and skin tone. Now our mothers can give us great advice, but the best way to find out what you like is to experiment. Luckily throughout the years I have learned my fair share and so grateful that I have, or I would just look weird !
I chose these two products because I feel for beginners they are really simple. Covergirl's Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 has the foundation, primer and concealer. Now when you first start off you really don't want to apply layers of makeup and even once you are a professional, simple is always beautiful. This foundation helps you save time but will make your skin look like you spent an hour on your make up. Because it has the built in concealer and primer, it's easier for beginners to work with until they feel comfortable venturing into the art of concealing. As for BB creams, I think they are perfect for beginners. BB creams work like tinted moisturizers, they have light to medium coverage but what makes them so simple is blend to your skin tone and hide imperfections better than a foundation without concealer. You don't even need a brush to apply it, you can use your hands where as sometimes foundations can get a little streaky

Tip ! When applying foundation, start from the middle of your face and blend your way out and on to your neck. Blending helps avoid cake faces and blending foundation on to your neck helps prevent that harsh foundation line on your jaw bone.
A good concealer is a makeup must. It can help you cover up blemishes, even out skin tone, brighten and cover under eye circles. For concealers I like to think, there are 2 different types : light to medium coverage and full. Your light to medium coverage is good for covering up slight discoloration or slight imperfections and full coverage works for blemishes and more visible imperfections. The only con they have is that light to medium coverage doesn't cover enough or may wear off, and full coverage can crease and feel heavy throughout the day. For light to medium concealer I really like CoverGirl's Fresh Complexion concealer, it has pretty good coverage and durability and doesn't feel too heavy. For full coverage, MAC's Studio Finish is amazing. It covers everything and anything but it can feel heavy and it makes my skin a little greasy, but nothing powder can't fix. Other than all of that it's perfect. Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind is a great drugstore under eye concealer, it covers your under eye circles beautifully but can also be uses for blemishes and redness and covers pretty well.

Tip ! When you are applying concealer, blend it out as much as possible. Your ring finger has the most delicate touch so if you have a concealer brush, use your finger to pat it in. Also, you can use the same brightening concealer that you use under your eyes to highlight you face (cupid's bow, bridge of the nose, cheek bones and forehead).
Mascara, Mascara, Mascara. I had a love/hate relationship when I first started to wear mascara. I hadn't quite mastered the technique so I would end up with clumpy eye lashes or mascara on my eyelid. When it comes to mascara you have two type lengthening or volumizing. It's pretty self explanatory but lengthening mascara adds length to your lashes and volumizing makes you lashes thicker and voluminous. All you really need to know is what type of mascara you need and you are good to go. If you have short, barely visible eye lashes then lengthening mascara would be good for you. If you have long, thin lashes then volumizing would be ideal for you. The mascaras I absolutely recommend are Benefit's They're Real!, CoverGirl's Clump Crusher and Maybelline's Rocket Volum'. Drugstore wise, Maybelline makes the best mascaras, and Higher End, I really like Benefit and Lancome.

Tip ! When applying mascara you will want to start from the base of your eye lashes and wiggle your way up. This will help create volume but also keep your lashes separated.
Another one on the list of tricky applications, Eyeliner. Eyeliner is essential to add shape to your eyes and if used right, it can make your lashes appear thicker or that you a lot have more . There are quite a few different types of eyeliner, you have pencil or kohl, gel, liquid and pen. For absolute beginners, I would recommend pencil eyeliner. It's probably the best introduction eye liner, great for easing you into others and great practice until you feel comfortable trying out others.

Kohl/Pencil - Great for beginners, can be used in and outside of eye, great for smudging, and if done right it can look pretty natural and make eyes and eye lashes look beautiful.

Liquid - Great for a precise line whether thin or thick and great for cat eye. Liquid eye liners also come in a shape of a pen, it has the same formula as liquid but the tip is sturdier which makes it easier for those who are learning the ways of liquid liner.

Gel - The best of both worlds. It can be smudged and look natural just like Kohl but also provides the precise line like liquid. Gel is my favorite from of eye liner, it may seem like it can be difficult but it actually isn't. In order to apply gel eye liner you have to use a brush, and it actually gives you a great amount of control.

Tip ! For the most natural looking eyeliner try to stay as close to the lash line and make a thin line.

Filling in your eyebrows can automatically frame your face and make a difference. Now if your eye brows are full or you just prefer them as they are, then just skip this and stick to some eyebrow gel. Eyebrow gel keeps your eyebrows nice and neat. When selecting a shade you want to go as natural as possible, unless you like the look of bold, dark eyebrows which is great too. If you have light eyebrows, then you want to go a shade darker. If you have dark eyebrows, then you want a shade or two lighter than your natural eyebrows. I have dark eyebrows, so I bought it in medium and it matches perfectly. The best eyebrow kit I have found is the one made by E.l.f, it looks natural and blends amazingly In my personal opinion, I think the best form is the palette that brings the wax and powder. The wax keeps your eyebrow in place and sort of lies a foundation for the powder.

Tip! Start from the bottom of your eyebrows and make you way up, most eye brows tend to be darker on the bottom. Use what's left on the brush for the tail, you want that part to be light as possible.
Some may tell you that you have to get your eye shadow from high end stores and some may say drugstore. With eye shadow I think it's a yes and no, because you do find amazing eye shadows at high end stores. However, some of the best trios come from the drugstores. I feel like Urban Decay makes some of the best eye shadows, my Naked palette and Naked Basics are everyday must. I honestly don't know how I ever applied make up without these, they are the greatest purchases ever. As for drugstore, Wet'n'Wild makes some of the best trios ever. The eye shadows are so pigmented and creamy, you wouldn't even suspected you bought it for $3. So you really don't have to spend a lot of money for good quality make up. Just search around, experiment and see what you like. Some my favorites and recommendations are Urban Decay Naked palette and Naked Basics palette, Wet'nWild Walking on Eggshells and CoverGirl's Shimmering Sands trio.

Tip ! Highlighting the inner corners of your eyes make them look big and awake. Blending is your best friend !

If you are ever in a hurry, you will be beyond grateful that you have cream eye shadow. It is probably my go to product when I am getting ready in a hurry or on days I don't want too much make up on. I think they are great for beginners because it is so easy to apply and so simple. The best ones and my favorites are MAC Paint Pots and Maybelline Color Tattoos. They have get lasting power and have some of the prettiest colors and great variety. Cream Shadows are also great bases for powdered eye shadows, whether it is a similar color or a completely different color. I really like putting on Maybelline's Bad to the Bronze with a pinky shimmery eye shadow, like Urban Decay's Sin or Wet' n 'Wilds Pink from Walking on Eggshells, on top and it looks so pretty and automatically transforms the color.

Tip ! When in a hurry, skip the eye shadow and go for cream eye shadows, they are quick and portable !

Eye Primer is an absolute must if you are going to apply eye shadow and want it to last all day. It keeps you eye shadow in place all and helps bring out the true pigmentation of your eye shadow. If you apply eye shadow without the primer, it won't last as long and the pigmentation will be very light. I have oily eyelids so if I want my eye shadow to I have to put it on. I have applied make up in the morning, before I either go out or to work and will last all day or until I decide to take it off. The best high end eye primer is Urban Decay Primer Potion and this one is my absolute favorite and I swear by it. As for drugstore, I have tried the e.l.f primer and it was alright, but did not work for me, but I have read that it is one of the best drugstore eye primer. The good thing about eye primer is that you only need the smallest amount and you are good to go.

Tip ! All you need is a teeny tiny dot !

This one thing I thought I didn't need, but really did. When I first started applying foundation, I would apply it straight on my skin without any primer. Maybe after 20 minutes of having it on and it settling in, I did not like what I saw in the mirror. You could see every single pore, every single pimple or bump I had on my face, it was not smooth at all. So the first primer I tried out was Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Primer, and it was and is a pretty good primer. It did what it said and I really liked it. Then, I tried Benefit's POREfessional and that's it I was done, I had found my primer. It shrinks my pores to nothing and leaves my face looking really smooth. I'm not telling you that you have to get any of these, but I will say that you should definitely purchase a face primer. It really makes all the difference in your foundation application and will help you foundation last longer. Now if you don't wear foundation and plan on never doing so, if you have large pores visible from space like mine, I would still recommend it . Even without the foundation, primers really do help to enhance your bare skin and make it look really flawless.
Oh lips, so many options nowadays. You have lip gloss, lip balms, lipsticks, lip butters, lip stains, I could probably keep going. In my opinion drugstore lip products are some of the best and all you really need. In all honesty I own a bunch of lip products and only one lipstick is from MAC, the rest is drugstore. When looking for lip products, go for the products that you are interested in, that you like. Some may only swear by lip gloss and others by lipstick. Lip gloss is very simple and easy, and you definitely don't have to worry about it. Lipstick, is beautiful but requires a little more precision and a little more attention, but when you find "your" color you look amazing. Lip butters are great because they are the laid back sister of lipstick, they are easier to apply and definitely don't require as much attention but also moisturizer unlike some lipsticks and have great color pay off.

Tip ! Moisturize your lips 10 minutes before applying an pigmented lipstick or lip butter. It will apply smoothly and won't crease into your lips.

I hope you Beauts found this somewhat helpful ! Make up isn't about making yourself more beautiful or perfect. It is an art, and through art we express ourselves. Don't be afraid to try something new or to wear red lipstick to the store. Do what makes you happy and comfortable. At the end of the day with or without
the make up, you are beautiful and that's what counts.

Take care Beauts !
Hi Beauts !

It's Sunday ! I was just watching the Olympics when I decided I wanted to do one of these ! Whenever the Olympics are happening whether Summer or Winter, I sit glued in front of the TV watching the games. I absolutely love it. So off we go !

1. What is your favorite thing to watch on a girls night ?

So, cleaning your makeup brushes is pretty important and pretty easy, there are just somethings you want to remember when doing so. You want to clean your brushes depending how often you use them; if you use them every single day then every week or week and a half, if you use it 3 to 4 times a week, every 2 weeks is pretty good. It's alright to slack when cleaning your brushes, it's only normal but be careful because it can cause breakouts.

Cleaning your brushes is easy, all you need are of course, your makeup brushes and baby shampoo.

When wetting your brushes, you don't want to throw the whole thing under water, doing so can cause bristles to fall out and for the barrel to loosen, two things you don't want.

Don't

Do

So what you want to do is lightly wet the bristles, make sure the water is not flowing out to heavily. However, make sure the bristles are entirely wet.

Pour a little drop of baby shampoo on your brush. Now this next part I was unable to show it to you, because it required both of my hands and I don't have a third to take a picture (though that would be awesome). What you want to do is swirl your brush on to the palm of the other hand, like if you were blending foundation on to your skin. Every now and then rinse it out with a little bit water, if you need to add a little bit of soap it's fine.

When you notice that the water is running clear, that means your brush is clean. When you are rinsing it out, run it over the water a little bit, and then flip it down (like in the picture) and let the water drip down. With your fingers lightly press out the water from the brush, you don't want to do that too aggressively because it can cause bristles to fall out.

Lay your brushes on a towel and let them dry. They should be dry within 2 to 3 hours. Leave them in a place where there is a breeze, whether it's your air conditioner or from an open window, can hit them. That will help your brushes dry thoroughly and quicker !

I forgot to mention that you definitely want your eye shadow and blending brush clean to show the true pigmentation. This happened to me once, I was applying a matte brown color on my crease and I noticed it had a bit of shimmer. I had use my crease brush to apply a eye shadow that had shimmer a couple of days before and forgot to clean it, so it transferred on to my eyelid. Remember, cleaning makeup brushes is simple and easy, and very important.

Hope you Beauts found this helpful !

So I know that a good store bought sugar scrubs can be on the pricey side. When I was looking for a good scrub, I decide that the only way I can find a really good and natural scrub was to make it at home. This scrub is all natural, practically chemical free if you want to consider the Vitamin E one, and really easy to make, and is also way more inexpensive in the long run.

What you'll need:
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp Vitamin E
1/2 cup of Virgin Coconut Oil
a container of your choice

Container with coconut oil, Vitamin E oil and sugar.

The first thing you want to do is melt the coconut oil. You will want to keep an eye on it because coconut oils melting point is pretty low , around 76 degrees so you'll want to be careful. You could even let it sit over night in a room that is not too cold and it should melt.

After you melt the coconut oil, pour it in to your container and throw in the Vitamin E and sugar. Mix away ! Now once you have mixed it all together, if you aren't crazy with the consistency you can always add more sugar or more oil. My scrub came out on the thicker side, which I prefer that way it won't run out of my hand and go to waste.

Tada !

Now once the oil cools it's will go back to it's normal state, it will harden. When you use it, get the desired amount and work it into your skin. After you rinse it off you will notice you skin is kind of oily, like right after you put on lotion. That's good, now if it bothers you than use your scrub before you apply soap, but it's best to use it after and letting your skin absorb the Coconut and Vitamin E oil.

Hope you Beauts found this helpful ! Let me know if you try this out !

I have finally joined the Birchbox club ! Well it's not really a club, but I'm really looking forward to this monthly subscription. I have been wanting Birchbox for over a good year now but, every time I would sign up and wait for the email I would completely forget. Luckily, when I signed up I was just in time to be able to receive the January box, and actually remembered about the email. Now, I know basically everyone has received theirs and I'm probably the last person to hop on this train, but it doesn't matter I'm still doing this !

So this morning I was looking through some beauty blogs and I came across A Complete Waste of Makeup and she does this thing every week called Sunday Social. She answers questions and encourages those who read her blog to answer them as well. If you decide to do it, you can leave your blog name and link on her page, so that way you are introduce to new blogs and people are introduced to yours. It's really cool because it gives you chance to make friends and get to know people and yeah I like it !

1. Top 3 favorite kinds of foods : Sandwiches, Coffee and Chocolate.

2. First 3 things you do in the morning : Check my phone, drink my coffee and get dressed.

3. Last 3 things you do at night : My nighttime skin routine, check my phone and watch some Netflix.

4. 3 TV shows you'd never miss : Pretty Little Liars, Big Bang Theory and Two Broke Girls.

5. 3 places you want to visit : England, Germany, and Canada.

6. 3 people you can always count on : My parents, my best friends and my brother.

I know this is supposed to be posted on Sundays but, I do really like the idea of this so I had to do it ! It's fun and a good idea for a simple Sunday post. If you guys liked this you should definitely go check out her blog. She also posts the following Sundays questions, so that makes things easier and you can prepare if you want to take part in it !

So I hoped you liked this post and I hope I can attempt to do these every Sunday ! Hope you beauts have a beautiful week !
