Sunday Social !

Hey Beauts !

It's Sunday ! I'm sorry I could not do the last one, unfortunately I have been working like a crazy woman. I have crazy amount of respect for people who can balance out their work life, personal life and a blog. It's not an easy task. Well let's get to this weeks questions !

1. What is the most difficult thing you have been through ?
I would definitely say losing my grandmother. She played a very large role in my life and a constant inspiration in my life. I lost her 3 years ago and it's definitely still something I struggle with everyday.

2. What was your best birthday ?
I want to say my 21st birthday and not because of the obvious. I have never been a birthday party kind of person and on this birthday a spontaneous party just kind of happened. There was great people and all just had a really fun time. It was also my last birthday that my grandma was able to attend.

3. What has been your favorite thing you've done in your own city ?
For sure going to the beach . Living in Miami means you can pretty much go to the beach year round and never worry about the temperature.

One of the reasons I  love my city.
4. What is your idea of the perfect date night ?
So I have always wanted a late night date type of thing, where we go to either Denny's or IHOP to eat and then drive over to the beach to watch the sunrise. I am a giant cheese ball.

5. Have you ever been to a blogging conference ? If so which (ones) ? If not do you want to ?
I have never been to one and yes I would want to go, could be interesting !

I hope you Beauts have a beautiful Sunday and enjoy your week ! Until next time, take care and thank you for reading.

Sunday Social !

                              Social Sunday
Hey Beauts !

So I know I've been slacking a bit, and I did apologize for it on another post and then I did it again... I'm a bit of a scatter brain and that's no excuse but I think it's pretty obvious. I am determined to change it and I will !

I have done about 4 of these and I really enjoy them and find them great. I think the ladies who thought up this concept and the great questions are pretty genius and awesome, if you ask me. I'll stop blabbering away and get to it, so yeah !

1. Favorite genre of music ?
I can't decide ! I really do like different genres  of music and to pick just one, is pretty difficult for me because my taste varies so much and I just really love all music.

2. Favorite genre of movies ?
Same thing with movies, I really enjoy watching movies and love so many of them and to pick just one puts you in a pickle, but my absolute favorites (yeah I can't pick just one..typical) are horror and romantic comedies.

3. Do you watch reality TV ? If so what was the first show you remember watching ?
Yes I do, I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I am guilty of watching it from time to time. The Hills. When I was in high school, me and my best friend would call each other and would watch the show and talk on the phone at the same time, good times.

4. Actress you'd be BFF's with ?
Betty White or be part of the Golden Girls.

5. Actor you'd be happy to be stuck on an island with ?
Liam Neeson or Ralph Fiennes, two of my favorite actors.

Check the ladies that do Sunday Social every week, their blogs are pretty awesome and cool. I hope  you Beauts liked this post and hopefully you guys noticed just how scattered brain I really am. Thank you for reading it means a lot to me ! Hope you all have a beautiful week.

My Summer Essentials !

Hi Beauts !

Summer is finally here ! Just saying that makes me so pumped and excited . I normally don't wear a lot of makeup during the summer because well for one, a good tan almost hides it all and gives you that amazing summer  glow and it's just so hot, the last thing you want to worry about is your make up. The reality about summer makeup is, you start your day with it but by the end of the day it's completely gone and that's not fun. Now when I do decided to apply any makeup I keep it very minimal and use products I know will stay on pretty much all day and also won't cake up when I sweat. So let's get to it !

Now this here is a sunscreen that is also tinted, so it helps protect your skin from the sun but helps even out the skin tone. Now you might be thinking " Why doesn't she just use a BB Cream ?", I went to the store set on a sunscreen because it was important to me to find a good sunscreen and one that I knew would work well with my skin. This product is not greasy or sticky like others, it's a mineral sunscreen so it actually feels nice on your skin. It has organic ingredients and does not contain any hash chemicals, which is always a plus for me.

I'm pretty sure I have mentioned this before but I love this mascara. I'm basically always debating between this mascara and Benefit's They're Real, which is another must have, but I chose this one because it is waterproof. Waterproof mascara during summertime is an absolutely must, it basically guarantees that you  won't have raccoon eyes midday, which is good. It's waterproof, doesn't flake and makes your lashes look amazing, so you are pretty much set

I love being outside and tanning during the summer time, but I also like to be careful with the amount of sun exposure my skin gets. In all honesty my skin barely tans, it gets some color but not much. I use bronzer to give my skin the appearance that it has more color than it actually does, because lets face it I'll probably never have gorgeous bronzed skin. I like this one because it's very natural looking and doesn't apply muddy or orange.

When you first look at this blush you think it might not be the greatest choice to wear during the day because it has tiny specks of glitter. I honestly thought that same way until I decided to play around with it. When you blend it in to your skin, it just gives you this amazing flushed glow. It compliments bronzed skin beautifully and just really helps you achieve that nice summer glow. Also, I have oily skin and because it has Amazonian Clay, it's the only blush that stays in place and doesn't melt off your face.

During summer I like very low maintenance makeup, that goes for my lips as well. I like products that I know I can just apply them and be on with whatever I am doing. These products are perfect for that because they aren't very heavy so they won't run off your lips and make you look like a clown. They are very easy and simple and the colors look great during summer.

This nail polish is absolutely perfect for summer and a must have for me. This nail polish looks amazing with cute sandals and a great tan. The bright coral compliments so many skin tones, so even if you don't like tanning this nail polish will look great on you.

This is probably an everyday essential for almost everyone and for me as well, but especially during summer. I like to use this to help give me more of that beautiful summer glow. I like applying this to the inner corner or my eyes, my eyelids and brow bone. It also stays on all day and doesn't crease.

These sheets are a must have summer essential for me, like I mentioned before I have very oily skin, so these are great to have. These sheets wipe off the oil from your skin but they don't wipe your makeup off or spread it around your face. They are great to have in your purse and leave your face feeling refreshed and clean.

These are my absolutely summer essentials and without it them, I would probably look a little funky. I hope these products help you find new things that might work on you or add to your summer essentials. I hope you Beauts have an awesome summer ! Thank you so much for reading !

How To Stay Organized - Life of a Procrastinator .

Hi Beauts !

I have a confession to make, I'm a secret procrastinator, well it actually it is not a secret. I struggle getting things done when I am suppose to and never really want to do them. For the longest time I had the habit of putting things off for as long as I could, until I HAD to do it, like last minute had to. I got to the point where enough was enough and something had to change. I decided to become somewhat more organized and structured. This is what has worked for me and I hope it can help you !

1. Find what works for you .
We are all different, so what may work for me might not work for you. So whether it's to do lists, keeping an agenda, using an app in your phone or your computer, find which style you feel would best work for your type of personality. I personally use an agenda and post it's to make to do lists, so that I make sure I get things done.

2. Make a weekly and daily to do list.
Sundays are probably the perfect day for this, check your calendar for what you may have noted down for the up coming week and see if you have any appointments, dates, meetings, whatever it may that you have and base your weekly schedule around that. Make a list of everything that has to get done that week so that way your daily planning does not become annoying or won't put you in a bad mood. As for your daily planning, once you have woken up and you are ready to tackle the day, make a list of the tasks that must be done that day, whether it's top priority or not.

3. Tackle your top priorities first.
When you write out you daily to do list, write out your absolute must do's for the day first and do them. The more important ones might be the most dreaded but also will give you the greater amount of satisfaction. Rather than feeling all blah the entire day because you know you have stuff to do that you are not necessarily excited for, you can feel satisfied and confident because you actually pulled through and got the worst out of the way.

4. Make checking your agenda/calendar everyday a habit.
The more you attempt to try to stay organized, the easier it will come along for you. Try and make checking what ever form of organization you use daily base, this will help keep you organized but also help instill this habit in you, which means organization in the long run.

5. Make writing important dates and notes a must.
I cannot tell you how many times people tell me the date of a birthday or a get together and I tell myself remember and off it goes to the land of the forgotten. It's a lot better if you jot it down somewhere where you will see it constantly, whether it's a reminder in your phone or a sticky notes on your mirror, get it somewhere besides your brain. Whenever I go to the grocery I have to make a list of what I need and might want because I can assure you that once I leave, there will be something that I needed an it will not be in my bags.

6. Set deadlines for yourself.
The thing about us procrastinators is that we wait for the very last minute to get things done, if not, everything would be great. Even with deadlines and constant reminders we just can't help putting things off. So how do you beat that ? Give yourself a deadline. Create one for yourself and stick to it as best as possible, this will give you time for other priorities but also if you might want to make some changes. Consider what it is your preparing for and based on that plan how soon you want it done, whether a week, 3 days, whatever works best for you, just make sure you get it done.

7. Be realistic.
So many times, the night before I plan to do so many things and I end up get half of them done. When you plan your to do list for the day, remember you are human. Try to be realistic when you are trying to get things done, don't give yourself twenty things to do in just one day and expect to do them all. Take other things into consideration and don't over do it, exhaustion is not good. The only terrible part of being human is that we can't split into ten versions of ourselves and get everything done all at once, it's a shame though. So be realistic and be nice to yourself, don't be that sucky person that wants to give you a million things to do and expects it done that same day. You are human and there are 365 days in a year, so chill out.

I'm not trying to tell you Beauts that these tips are a must and that everyone should follow these ideas, but I do definitely think they help. They have definitely helped me, sure I still fail every now and then but I try and it gets things done. I don't think it's hard to stay organized, I just think you have to really want it and live by a system that works for you. Once you have that down, nothing can get in your way. I hope this post helps you Beauts out in some way. I am planning on posting a lot more frequently than I have been lately, I know I have been lost. Thank you so much for reading !
