Hi Beauts !
I have a confession to make, I'm a secret procrastinator, well it actually it is not a secret. I struggle getting things done when I am suppose to and never really want to do them. For the longest time I had the habit of putting things off for as long as I could, until I HAD to do it, like last minute had to. I got to the point where enough was enough and something had to change. I decided to become somewhat more organized and structured. This is what has worked for me and I hope it can help you !
1. Find what works for you .
We are all different, so what may work for me might not work for you. So whether it's to do lists, keeping an agenda, using an app in your phone or your computer, find which style you feel would best work for your type of personality. I personally use an agenda and post it's to make to do lists, so that I make sure I get things done.
2. Make a weekly and daily to do list.
Sundays are probably the perfect day for this, check your calendar for what you may have noted down for the up coming week and see if you have any appointments, dates, meetings, whatever it may that you have and base your weekly schedule around that. Make a list of everything that has to get done that week so that way your daily planning does not become annoying or won't put you in a bad mood. As for your daily planning, once you have woken up and you are ready to tackle the day, make a list of the tasks that must be done that day, whether it's top priority or not.
3. Tackle your top priorities first.
When you write out you daily to do list, write out your absolute must do's for the day first and do them. The more important ones might be the most dreaded but also will give you the greater amount of satisfaction. Rather than feeling all blah the entire day because you know you have stuff to do that you are not necessarily excited for, you can feel satisfied and confident because you actually pulled through and got the worst out of the way.
4. Make checking your agenda/calendar everyday a habit.
The more you attempt to try to stay organized, the easier it will come along for you. Try and make checking what ever form of organization you use daily base, this will help keep you organized but also help instill this habit in you, which means organization in the long run.
5. Make writing important dates and notes a must.
I cannot tell you how many times people tell me the date of a birthday or a get together and I tell myself remember and off it goes to the land of the forgotten. It's a lot better if you jot it down somewhere where you will see it constantly, whether it's a reminder in your phone or a sticky notes on your mirror, get it somewhere besides your brain. Whenever I go to the grocery I have to make a list of what I need and might want because I can assure you that once I leave, there will be something that I needed an it will not be in my bags.
6. Set deadlines for yourself.
The thing about us procrastinators is that we wait for the very last minute to get things done, if not, everything would be great. Even with deadlines and constant reminders we just can't help putting things off. So how do you beat that ? Give yourself a deadline. Create one for yourself and stick to it as best as possible, this will give you time for other priorities but also if you might want to make some changes. Consider what it is your preparing for and based on that plan how soon you want it done, whether a week, 3 days, whatever works best for you, just make sure you get it done.
7. Be realistic.
So many times, the night before I plan to do so many things and I end up get half of them done. When you plan your to do list for the day, remember you are human. Try to be realistic when you are trying to get things done, don't give yourself twenty things to do in just one day and expect to do them all. Take other things into consideration and don't over do it, exhaustion is not good. The only terrible part of being human is that we can't split into ten versions of ourselves and get everything done all at once, it's a shame though. So be realistic and be nice to yourself, don't be that sucky person that wants to give you a million things to do and expects it done that same day. You are human and there are 365 days in a year, so chill out.
I'm not trying to tell you Beauts that these tips are a must and that everyone should follow these ideas, but I do definitely think they help. They have definitely helped me, sure I still fail every now and then but I try and it gets things done. I don't think it's hard to stay organized, I just think you have to really want it and live by a system that works for you. Once you have that down, nothing can get in your way. I hope this post helps you Beauts out in some way. I am planning on posting a lot more frequently than I have been lately, I know I have been lost. Thank you so much for reading !

April Favorites !
Hi Beauts !
It has been too LONG ! I was starting to feel like I lost a piece of me. I'm sorry I disappeared for a bit, things got a little busy and somewhat personal. I needed some me time to just figure out some personal issues but I'm BACK ! I can't tell you guys just how happy blogging makes me and how great I feel typing this. So just because I went away a little doesn't mean I didn't have a few favorites in April. So let's get to it !
So this past month I have been brightening up my make up a bit, so I have been using this as eyeliner on my bottom lid. It gives a great subtle pop of color and stays put pretty much all day, plus the color is super pretty .
I got this in my last BirchBox and I love it ! I'm actually planning on buying the full size bottle because it's freaking amazing. It conditions my hair and leaves it super soft and just has been a addition to my hair care. This has become an absolutely must for me.
I bought this lipstick because I really liked the color and thought it would be a great addition to my pink nude lipstick obsession. I really like the color and the pigmentation of this lipstick, it can dry out your lips a little, but if you apply lip balm under it, you're fine.
My new absolute favorite shaving cream. It smells amazing, makes my skin feel amazing and it just the best shaving cream I've ever tried. It comes out like a rich cream rather than a foam, and you can use it dry or wet.
This candle smells like pure perfection, it's amazing. It smells like Champagne, nectarine and blackcurrant and has a really good throw. It's not overly fruity or sweet, it just this really nice yummy smell, that's the best way I can describe it .
Good eyebrow tools are very important to me, I need me a good comb and spoolie. I picked these up at Target and noticed a huge difference compare to the other ones I had. They shaped my eyebrows perfectly and the spoolie helps blend out whenever I shade in my eyebrows.
I really like drinking tea before bed time or that mid day pick me and lately I have really been liking this one. It has a really nice flavor and I really enjoy the citrus as well. It really helps to calm me down and get ready for bed. I'm naturally a night person, it doesn't matter what time I wake up, once the sun goes down I'm a buzzing bee and it's sort of hard for me to come down from that. So, this has been helping and the taste is awesome.
I normally have a love/hate relationship with drugstore concealers, they either work or don't. I bought this one with the intentions of using it on any blemishes and redness that I may have. Well, I decided to try it under my eyes to cover up my dark circles and it worked ! Normally anything under my eyes creases and this one did but just the smallest amount. It really blends in nicely and gives this natural bright glow to your eyes. This concealer is not full coverage, but I like to think of it as a BB cream type product. I doesn't eliminate the blemish or redness completely but it covers it enough that it makes it look way better and natural.
I hope you Beauts found this helpful and I'm so glad to be back and blogging ! I'm in the process of maybe setting up a schedule, I'm not quite sure yet, but I'll definitely keep you Beauts posted !

What's In My Purse !
Hi Beauts !
I won't lie to you and say I don't like these types of post, because I do. I love knowing what people hold in their purses and for some unknown reason, I find it fascinating. Whenever I read or watch any of these posts on YouTube, I feel like a little kid watching Mary Poppins go through her purse, somewhat weird ? Yeah. I think what we carry in our purse gives people a lot of insight to who we are. Now the contents in my purse are not exactly amazing or super interesting, just necessary, well for me anyways. So here we go !
Notepad- Random thoughts hit me at random times, so if a blog post idea hits me out of no where, I write it down.
Car Keys- Can't go out without them !
Forever Red Mini Perfume- Is it a crime to always want to smell good ?
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion- I don't like having dry hands, at all.
Almay Liquid Lip Balm, Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss, Maybelline Baby Lips- Who doesn't care this many lip products in their purse ?
Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets- Oily skin, it's a curse.
Coach Wristlet- Just like my keys, can't go anywhere without my wallet.
Inhaler- Yeah, asthma it's fun to have, if I don't have it, not a pretty sight....
Hair Tie- Just in case I feel the need to pick my hair up.
Colgate Wisp- I don't like having food stuck in between my teeth after a meal, so I like these mini toothbrushes.
Altoids- I'm paranoid of having bad breath, yeah.
Tissues- My allergies act up whenever they want to, so when they do, I need tissue.
Sunglasses- It's really sunny wear I live and I hate driving without them.
Smith's Rosebud Salve- I pick at my cuticles when I'm stressed or nervous, so I use this to moisturize them and to prevent myself from picking.
Tampon Case- It's only natural and yeah... always be prepared.
Flash Light- Just in case ? You never know.
So that's what I carry in my purse ! I hope you Beauts liked this and found it somewhat interesting...or maybe not. What is one thing that you have to have in your purse at all times ? Let me know ! Thank you for reading and take care Beauts !

Get Healthy With Me!
Hi Beauts !
About a couple of month ago, I got very fed up with the lifestyle I was living. I was eating pure trash really, heavily processed foods, sweets and a ton of white carbohydrates. I felt very lazy and lethargic, my body felt so sluggish and slow just because of what I was feeding my body. My acne was definitely acting up, I was having breakouts and it was just oil overload on my face. I finally told myself that enough is enough, so I made myself change. Before I get into this, please remember I am NOT a certified nutritionist, what I know about health is research I've done on the internet. This is what has been working for my body, everybody is different and I'm not trying to say that you HAVE to change.
Take Care Beauts !
- The first thing I did was cut out heavily processed foods. No more frozen pizza or meals, potato chips, fast food, anything with hydrogenated oils, High Fructose Corn Syrup, MSG, GMOs.
- Soda and Sugared drinks were next. I figured if soda and sugary juices have no health benefits like water, why drink them ?
- Once I had a little better control of my "diet", I started exercising. I started with fast pace walking for an hour and then started to progress into somewhat more intense workouts. Right now, what I love to do is Tone It Up videos on YouTube. Their workouts are amazing and really make you sweat.
- I make myself drink a lot of water. I keep a water bottle with me at all times, even on my bedside table before going to bed. Ever since I started drinking a lot of water, I have noticed a difference in my acne and how I feel overall.
- I love love coffee. I can have it whenever, wherever. I personally don't think that coffee is really bad for you, but some say otherwise. I used to love flavored coffee creamers, I always had to have it with my coffee. I stopped buying them because of the ingredients it has, so instead I use organic half and half, which tastes just as good and is better for me.
- If I can't pronounce it or know what it is, I won't eat it, ingredient wise. If it's loaded with chemicals and preservatives, how good can it be for you ?
- I had to make myself understand that there are good carbohydrates and bad ones, they aren't all bad. I try not to eat anything "white", like bread, pasta, rice and so on. I have substituted all of those with healthier whole grain/wheat versions .
- I like to have fruit and nut bars as a snack or keep them in my purse in case if I get hungry, that way I have something in stomach to hold me over to my next meal. I really like Lara bars and Kind bars, they are delicious and all natural.
- Breakfast ! I love breakfast food but have never been a breakfast person, eating so soon just doesn't make me feel right. I started to ease myself into breakfast little by little. I love having fruit, toast and eggs or oatmeal. It really just depends what I'm craving when I wake up.
- Portion control... Whenever you are starving an finally get the chance to eat, you just go crazy eating, well not literally, but I think we all must have experienced that once in our lives. I had to learn proper portions, like a giant bowl of just mac n cheese or a giant steak isn't really a smart choice. When I eat meals, I like for plate to have lots of vegetables, healthy protein and some carbohydrates depending what I'm eating. So my plate will be half veggies, a quarter protein and the other quarter carbohydrates/starch.
Take Care Beauts !
