My Everyday Makeup Essentials !

Hey Beauts !

So sorry for the delay ! But, I'm back and I decided to share my everyday makeup must haves. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis but these are the products I turn to the most. Without these products, I am pretty sure I would have no idea what I would do makeup wise. I try to keep my makeup very easy and simple, not too over the top, and pretty quick and easy. So lets get crackin !

Lately, this has been my go to foundation. I really like this foundation and how it leaves my skin. I don't wear foundation everyday, I try to give my skin a break on days I am staying in or those lucky days my skin looks good. I normally don't apply foundation and concealer, I do either or. The appearance of pimples doesn't really bother me(but doesn't mean I like them either), it's the uneven skin tone. I have some redness on my cheeks, so that is mainly what I cover up. So I either apply foundation all over or use concealer and cover up the areas that are annoying me.

For eyeshadow, if I wear any, I basically turn to these two palettes. If I want something more natural and matte I go with the Basics palette. You can't go wrong with this any of these palettes, you can basically almost do anything with these. When I want to look a little more put together or want a different look, I turn to my Naked Palette. Both these palettes are amazing and so versatile and I love it !

I love this eyeliner ! It's the best gel eyeliner I have ever owned. It's super black, not like those other gel eyeliners that show up gray or spotty. It lasts forever and is a bit of a pain to take off, but it will lasts you all day. On those lazy days, sometimes I like to apply a thin line of eyeliner and mascara and I feel put together. I honestly use this eyeliner 5 days out of the week. If I don't it's either because I'm not wearing make up or wear brown eyeliner instead.

These mascaras are a MUST for me. I absolutely love these mascaras, they are my favorites and without them, my eyelashes would look terrible. They lengthen my lashes and seperates them and make them look amazing. They accentuate your natural lashes without looking like you have spider legs for lashes. I turn to either one of these or use them together.

 I am a firmer believe that filling in your eyebrows makes all the difference. If you don't wear any make up at all and just fill in your eyebrows, you will notice a difference. It makes your eyebrows look really nice and really frames your face. This kit brings the wax and the powder and it's the best. The wax helps to keep your eyebrows in place but also holds on to the powder so it lasts longer and the clear mascara helps to keep you brows together and lasts longer.

 I'll be honest, I don't always prime my face but when I actually do, I always reach for Benefit's POREfessional primer. It shrinks my pores to nothing and if I apply it under my Covergirl foundation, my skin looks amazingly smooth and poreless. Now for eyes I always have to prime if I want any of my eye make up to stay in place. I have really oily eyelids, so Urban Decay's Primer Potion helps to keep my eye make up on all day and really helps to bring out the true pigmentation of your shadow.

For lips, lip balm is an absolute must for me every single day. I honestly have like a billon lip balms but my favorite is definitely my EOS. It smells amazing and hydrates instantly, which I love. On days when I want a little more, I'll gravitate to these nude pinky colors. They are pretty much almost the same color expect the Rimmel lipstick is more of a true nude  pink color while the MAC lipstick is almost brighter, it's more noticeable then the Rimmel.

Now I am finally happy with my make up removal products. Most eye make up removers don't exactly work the way I like them to, but this one does. It takes everything off  of my eyes and leaves my eyes looking like they never had make up on. The wipes help take off all my foundation and they smell nice. The only thing I don't like about it is that it burns a little, but I do have sensitive skin so that could be why too.

My Answers
What inspired you to start blogging ?
Well, I had been into make up and beauty for a while, but my friends and people around me aren't as interested. I found myself really interested in it and just wanted to talk about it all the time. So I decided to start blogging, I wanted to do something completely out of my comfort zone. Im really proud of myself for making that move because I absolutely love it.

What kind of post do you enjoy writing ?
I try to make every post that I write enjoyable for me in the process. I feel that if I enjoy it and I like it, you guys will like it and enjoy it. But, I like writing about products I've been liking, reviews, nail polish and how to better ourselves.

What is one beauty item and one make up item you cannot live without ?
Beauty wise, I would have to say my Clarisonic, I swear by it. I have seen a change in my skin since I started and I love it. Make up wise, it's definitely mascara and my eyebrow kit, I need to have those.

What skincare regimen do you rarely do ?
Facial Mask. I love to do them but I can never do them routinely.

What is your favorite make up brand ?
High end I'd probably say Urban Decay. Drugstore, I like Maybelline and Revlon.

Gold of Silver ?
Depends, I like both.

If you could travel anywhere in the world and money wasn't an issue, where would you go ? Why ?
I would like to travel all around Europe. I would love the idea of traveling around, seeing different cultures, a different way of life, the languages. Europe has so much history and beauty, and the food is probably amazing .

Would you rather go back in time or to the future ?
Definitely the past, I love History, it's my favorite subject. I would love to go back to the 1940s in Europe during the Holocaust. It's such a sad and unfortunate time in history but so fascinating.

Which celebrity would you love to meet ?
Hilary Duff, I love her sense of fashion.

What is one song you are currently obsessed with ?
Im not really into One Direction but their song "You and I" is wow. I love it. "Say Something" from A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera. I had to mention both.

What would like to achieve in 2014 (mostly blog wise) ?
I want to continue posting and more frequent as well. I would also like to branch out more, maybe fashion and some tutorials and maybe do a collaboration with fellow bloggers.

My 2013 Beauty Favorites !

Hi Beauts !
I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's and an amazing year to come. So the new year if finally here ! This past year was great and I can't wait for 2014 and what's to come, 2013 had some great beauty finds that I will love always. I know that these will definitely be favorites in the year to come and I can't.wait find new ones along the way.
Foundation

This has been my go to foundation ever since I purchased it. It has amazing coverage and leaves your skin looking pretty much flawless and it has a built in primer, so it's good when you're in a hurry.
Palette

This palette will forever be one of my favorite palettes. It's so versatile, day or night look, natural or smokey eye, it does it all. I love the colors as well, very natural and silky.
Cream Eyeshadow


This paint pot is an absolute must for me. On lazy days, I put some of this on my eyelids and mascara and Im good to go. I really like the color of this because its a pinky skin color, so it helps cancel out any redness I may have on my eyelids from allergies or lack or sleep. It basically brightens my eyes and lasts all day.

This year I went a little pink crazy. Rather than doing the classic red lip, i went for hot pink when I wanted a bold look. And when I wanted a more subtle hot pink, I went for the lip gloss or sheer lipstick. When I wasn't feeling either I went for the nude pink, you can never go wrong with nude pink lips.
Mascara
These mascaras are honestly heaven sent. They kinda work the same and have the same formula more or less, but they have different wands. These mascaras lengthen and separate which I love, but I love how long lasting they are. They don't flake, they don't irritate my eyes, they hold a curl pretty well and make your eyelashes look amazing yet natural.
Eyebrows

This past year, I have been eyebrow crazy. I never use to worry about them, just a little brow gel and I was good to go. But now, I really like the look and effect it gives. On lazy days, when I don't want too much make up but look put together, I do my eyebrows and mascara and feel put together.
Eyeliner


This is my favorite gel eyeliner. It's really dark and applies just as dark, not gray or a soft black. If you've used gel eyeliners that aren't the best quality, you know what I mean. The lasting proof of this eyeliner is awesome and it doesn't smudge during the day.
Nail Polish

So for this year, I norrowed it down to these two Essie polishes and this nail hardner. This are the colors I turn to most, I do try to expand and I do use all my polishes. However, I love color and they go with any outfit and ocassion. As for the nail hardner, it's amazing. I used to bite my nails, so growing them out was a pain because they were so weak, but this helped and I still use it.
Face
I could put here my face wash, my toner, my moisturizer or face mask, but then I would be lying. My Clarisonic has changed my skin dramatically. Its smoother, brighter and I definitely feel a difference in my skin than when I used to use just my hands. I have noticed a difference in the amount of oil my pores are producing, which is a amaxing because I felt like a pizza some times. Brushes

Elf Angled Eyeliner Brush

These brushes have made my life so so much easier. This foundation brush does what it says, it leaves your face looking like it was literally airbrushed. It bends everything nicely, doesnt leave any streaks behind and really helps set the foundation in place. I love gel eyeliner, it's my favorite form of eyeliner. I used to use the Smashbox Eyeliner Brush or the Real Techniques brush, and I didn't really like the end result for either one. This brush is really fine and sturdy, so it helps to make a thin line and the angle makes it easier to go in a straight line.
Candle

I love the smell of this candle, it smells like what I imagine winter to smell like, cool, crisp, and pepperminty. This candle is my favorite for 2013 because it smells amazing but I really do think you could turn it on during the year, and no one would know it's a Winter candle. It just leaves my room smelling amazing and clean.
Hair Care

Coconut Oil can be use for almost anything, moisturizer, make up remover, to make a scrub whatever really. I like to put coconut oil once a week, in my hair and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour and wash it off . It makes your hair so soft, it doesn't get rid of split end but it moisturizes your ends that it does a good job of hiding them. It's all natural so you aren't stink more chemicals on your head and you smell like coconuts at the end of it all.

Christmas Nail Polishes !

Hi Beauts !
I was looking through my nail polish collection, trying to decide what polish I wanted to help get me in the spirit ! I found five that I thought would look cute alone or mixed together. And maybe you beauts may like!


(Left to Right) China Glaze Salsa, Revlon Posh, Essie Shearling Darling, Essie Hors D'oeuvres, Essie Toggle to the Top.

Now I think these are some pretty Christmas-y colors, though I do wish the green polish was more like a pine green but it works. One thing I like about nail polish for Christmastime is the variety of reds you can use. You really can't go wrong when painting your nails for Christmas.

You can't go wrong with a classic red for the hoildays. I think that if anyone had to pick only one nail polish to have during Christmas, red would be the best choice. This red polish is really pretty and I like China Glaze's formula.

I am obsessed with this color ! It's gorgeous. Its one of my favorite shades of red, it's perfect for Fall and perfect for a Christmas. It's like an oxblood/dark burgandy red color, maybe a tad lighter than oxblood. It's simple and goes with every skin tone.

When I first saw this polish, I automatically said Christmas. This bottle is the epitome of of the Holidays all squished into one little tiny bottle. Its the perfect red color with red glitter. All you need is two coats and you are good to go !

Ok, so I had to put something green, this post can't consist of only all red polishes. I'm planning on using this polish to do a little tree design on my nail. If it were the slightest darker, it would be perfect but I think it works. Does it have that Christmas tree feel ?

What's Christmas without glitter and sparkle ?! I thought this polish would look amazing with any of these nail polishes either as an accent nail or a coat or two on top . I really like this one, because it has a gold base with small and chunkier silver glitter. It reminds me of Christmas lights and ornaments.
